To the Editor I was intrigued by the excellent article by Keane et al1 that characterized birdshot chorioretinopathy (BSCR) with extramacular enhanced depth optical coherence tomography (OCT) for the first time, as far as I know, in such detailed fashion. The study left me speculating about the real future revolution that awaits the ophthalmological fields of uveitis and retina owing to these innovative extramacular applications of OCT.
