This text presents the papers given at a multidiscipline symposium on ocular circulation in 1965. The complete text recently appeared in Investigative Ophthalmology, December 1965. Now these collected papers are presented conveniently in hard cover form as the first of many probable symposia on vascular disorders of the eye. The 18 papers, for the most part current work by researchers in the basic problems of the anatomy, physiology, physics, and biochemistry of the ocular vascular system, are stimulating, concise, and provide excellent bibliographies as a point of departure for further reading in these areas. The discussions between clinicians and researchers following each session of the symposium have been incorporated into the text, making it even more lively and thought-provoking.
