National Eye Institute Director Honored.
—Carl Kupfer, MD, was recently honored at the annual Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute meeting at The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, for his contributions to the National Eye Institute. Dr Kupfer was also honored with the Mildred Weisenfeld Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology at the annual Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology meeting in Sarasota, Fla, in May 1987.
