Of these only two extended onto the cornea. It is the purpose of this paper to review the known information on this subject and to present such a congenital abnormality in which aberrant lacrimal gland tissue involved the sclera and cornea.François and Rabaey1 reported finding a tumor located under the limbal conjunctiva of the right eye in a 36-year-old woman, who had first noted its presence at the age of 10 years. The position of the lesion was between 3:30 and 5 o'clock. It was described as a yellowish well-defined thin tumor measuring 5 × 3.5 mm. Histological examination revealed its structure to be identical with that of the lacrimal gland.Dame2 reported a case in a SN - 0096-6339 M3 - doi: 10.1001/archopht.1958.00940080506023 UR - http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/archopht.1958.00940080506023 ER -
